I still don't know what the fuck all of this is, but if anyone needs a healer, I'm here and willing to be helping out.

[There's a brief pause.]

It looks like I'll be needing your help after all, Ryn.

[His tone was rather angry, but somehow, a brief bit of amusement managed to shine through.]

[Hers is angry as well, more so after Sandrath replies. This shit is ridiculous enough on its own, but it pisses her off the more when it's affecting those she knows.]

Looks like I'm getting that chance to be useful after all.

[Though even that isn't of much consolation at the moment, considering she's still too busy focusing on what the fuck.]

Not too far from the living quarters.

[Hey, it's the girl from his failed escape attempt.]

Oh, so you're a healer? I never would have been able to tell from your bedside manner.

[And there's a chuckle at that, for all that it's not very humorous at the moment.]

You're not the first to be telling me that. Keeps people I don't know from asking me to patch them up every time they've got a damn paper cut.

[She's started moving while she replied, and she's outside the barracks quickly enough, searching for him.]

[He didn't reply back since he was busy trying to figure out how the hell this happened.

It probably wouldn't take long for Ryn to find him with his scarecrow body and his headless vessel. Too bad the costume was now covered in blood.]

Told you this place was weird.

[Although he really wasn't ready for something like that.]

[Headless bodies? A mood killer? Never.]

People like that aren't very hard to discourage, are they.

[It's all he can really get out.]

[It doesn't, and she makes a beeline for him. A flicker of concern crosses her expression, before it's hidden behind her anger and general frustration at the situation. She glances at his headless body a moment.]

It's a shame. I liked that costume on you.

[Then she looks towards his scarecrow self.]

Can't say this is ever something I've come across as a healer, but provided whatever the fuck did this isn't still interfering, it shouldn't be anything I can't handle.

[Oh, no, of course not. She gives a soft snort.]

It's possible that my bedside manner is just that frightening.

Not that I was doubting you before, but I'm sure as hell not now. This's gotta be one of the strangest fucking things I've seen.

[She pauses.]

You're all right?

[And her voice softens the tiniest bit here.]

Then you'll have one, lad. Where are you?

[He didn't have a comment for the state of his costume, but he looked to Ryn.]

Neither have I. I would have done it myself, but I might kill myself by doing so.

[A bitter chuckle escapes his lips.]

My life will be in your hands, quite literally.

Just a little shaken up.

[And reminded of whole lot of things he rather not remember.]

Damn it. [He still doesn't have all that great of a handle on the whole moving thing. It feels all wrong.]

[She shakes her head slightly.]

Suspecting this is what I get for complaining about being bored, and having nothing useful to do.

[She quirks a bit of a smile at that, though it's not exactly humorous.]

If it's any consolation, it's a position I'm used to being in with others.

[Speaking of which, she reaches out with her senses, reassured that she can still sense him as obviously alive.]

Normally I can do it without contact, but I'll not be taking any fucking chances with something like this. You ready to get this over with?

You're in luck, same floor as I'm on. Won't take half a moment.

[She'd started towards the room as soon as she'd gotten the number, so it's not long before she's standing outside the door, giving a sharp rap on it.]

Somehow, I'm not surprised.

[He made a small pouting expression before it disappeared with a sigh.]

As ready as I can be. Go ahead.

Yeah this isn't exactly how I'd like to be useful either.

[Not that he is. He fixes things, not people.]

This might be the last party I'm going to for a while.

[Or forever.]

Really? Most people are. Something about my bedside manner.

[She closes the distance between them, moving to take hold of his head, then pauses with her fingers curled lightly around the back of his neck.]

Thinking we should get you as close as possible. The less distance I have to be moving your head, the better.

Sadly, this is usually how I'm most useful back home, not that I'm liking it all that much. Though bloody fucking heads detaching isn't something I've dealt with.

[Not without the people being dead, anyway.]

It's the last party I'll be going to that was thrown by this guy.

[Well, that made him chuckle. Sadly, it didn't last too long. Time for joking around could come later.]

[He would move with her, to the best of his ability with this awkwardly weighted body.]
