I still don't know what the fuck all of this is, but if anyone needs a healer, I'm here and willing to be helping out.
[There's a brief pause.]
But also, seriously, what the fuck.
[OOC: Tags will be slow until Saturday, when my power will hopefully be back, but Ryn's available for people who don't mind that! Also, if you'd rather not thread it out but still need a healer, I'm good with that, too! Just drop a comment or something?]

If it's any consolation, it's a position I'm used to being in with others.
[Speaking of which, she reaches out with her senses, reassured that she can still sense him as obviously alive.]
Normally I can do it without contact, but I'll not be taking any fucking chances with something like this. You ready to get this over with?
[Commentlog]
[He made a small pouting expression before it disappeared with a sigh.]
As ready as I can be. Go ahead.
[Commentlog]
[She closes the distance between them, moving to take hold of his head, then pauses with her fingers curled lightly around the back of his neck.]
Thinking we should get you as close as possible. The less distance I have to be moving your head, the better.
[Commentlog]
I understand.
[He would move with her, to the best of his ability with this awkwardly weighted body.]
[Commentlog]
Right. Shouldn't take long.
[And then she's carefully pulling his head off the scarecrow body. She moves quickly but efficiently; for all that she's not exactly used to fucking reattaching heads, she's still in her element here. She monitors her sense of his energy as she goes, keeping it steady while she lines his head back up with his neck and begins reattaching.
As his neck knits itself together again, a ring of red appears around her own neck, skin splitting open briefly and dripping blood onto her shirt, but she ignores it. By the time she's done, it's scabbed over.
Ryn leans back slightly, though she doesn't move her hand from his neck.]
All right?
[Commentlog]
I think so.
[He notices the blood and the sudden ring around her neck. Now, that would not do. Before she can even pull back, San reaches up and uses his own healing ability on her. To Ryn, the process would tingle and slightly burn but it was nothing harmful.]
What about you?
[Commentlog]
Good.
[And then he heals her, and she doesn't bother to hide her surprise. People've commented on her particular healing technique before, to be sure, but nothing else. She's never actually been on the receiving end of the healing before.]
You didn't need to be wasting your energy like that. I heal pretty damn fast.
[Commentlog]
How else am I suppose to know what this place has done to me without using a bit of my power?
[Commentlog]
True. Possibly not the best time to be testing in, though, right after you've been hit with whatever the fuck that was.
[She pauses for a moment.]
Suppose I should add a thanks in there, before I come off as too terribly ungrateful.
[Commentlog]
[He grinned a bit before winking.]
Don't worry about it. Its not the first time someone hasn't thanked me for healing them.
[Commentlog]
[She chuckled at that.]
Now that's the fucking truth. Of course, that should probably mean I know better.
[Commentlog]
[He tilted his head for a moment and then shifted it around. Once he was done testing his neck, he moved to get back on his feet. Offering a hand to Ryn.]
No kidding and you do.
[Commentlog]
[She smirks slightly at that, though it fades to a more serious look as she watches him test out his neck. When he offers his hand, she takes it, pulling herself up and letting her hand linger for a moment before she lets go.]
Supposedly we're needing to destroy the stake, as well.
[Commentlog]
I could try burning it.
[With his free hand, he snapped his fingers constantly to get the flame started.]
