[There's a soft exhalation of air, somewhere between a sigh and a vaguely annoyed huff.]
I don't suppose there's anyone here who can take away people's abilities, temporarily?
[She doesn't sound hopeful, but there is a slight wistfulness to her otherwise irritated tone.]
Likely not. Regardless, I'll be in the tavern, drinking twice my weight in free alcohol, for all the bloody good it'll do. If anyone's of the mind to join me.
[It's her birthday, and she's not going to let a little thing like not being able to get drunk stop her from drinking on it. So she's sitting at the bar, a few bottles in front of her, and drinking from one.]

[It's an immediate answer, said without considering it at all, but she pauses as she takes a sip from a bottle.]
Usually, in any case.
welp
[He tilts his head, and reaches for the bottle, though he pauses.]
May I?
i saw nothing
It's not doing me any bloody good.

That's regrettable, however I suppose that means I can coin the phrase 'more for me' rather aptly.
no subject
You can. And then I can watch you get drunk, and live vicariously.

[Hey he's a GENTLEMAN when it comes down to it, okay. No slurping for HIM. He's seen enough pigs in prison, thank you!]
no subject
I'd try to deny that, but it seems you know me far too well.
[Something she finds she quite likes, actually.]
no subject
Of course I do. [That gets a leer out of him, and a suggestive wink.]
Though I confess I can always know you better.
[You spoiled him.]
